If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I have been working for the last few months on a little project that I named Shulammitegirl Shed.
What is Shulammitegirl Shed?
It is a small business I’ve been working on to sell homemade baked goods, specialty charcuterie platters, salsas and hopefully someday soon, artisan breads.
If you know me personally, you know that I bake and cook weekly. Some months I take orders to bake and raise money for disaster relief work or for a memorial fund for my best friend. While I still will take proceeds for both, I have decided to start this little business in hopes of reaching some goals of mine. Both personal and financial.
I want my customers to know their baked goods are 100% made from scratch, baked with love and have as much local ingredients as I can get my hands on. As the business grows, I hope to have as much ingredients from farm to table as possible.
A week ago I finally released the Instagram page which you can find here.
Today, I am so proud to finally announce that my small business is officially open for business!
If that wasn’t exciting enough, I will be a vendor at a local Pop Up Shop in my area at the end of the month. More details on that when the time comes!
My beautiful logo was designed by a lovely friend Fabiola who is the creator over at Flowershoppe Calligraphy. She took the time to listen to what I wanted in a logo, what I didn’t want, sent me samples and delivered the final logi sooner than expected. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a logo, personalized invitation, calligraphy work or design work for their business or projects.
I have small goals before I really think of the future and where I’ll take my small business but I am excited and optimistic about the many possibilities!
Thank you for the support and love,
