A few weeks ago, we had a visitor stay with us who only eats plant based/vegan meals.
I meal plan every week so I had to make some adjustments that specific week but I came across a few recipes that would serve not only my husband and I, but our guest as well.
Not only is this recipe affordable, it’s also super easy, super fast and depending on how many you’re feeding, you can really make this stretch and you can accommodate vegetarians/vegans as well.
You can make your own naan bread or you can buy store bought like I used for this recipe.
*All of my ingredients came from Aldi’s except for the pizza sauce.*
- Naan Flatbread
- Olive Oil
- Italian Seasoning
- Pizza Sauce (I used Trader Joe’s)
- Toppings (Vegetables, meats, etc.)
Preheat oven to 400°F
Take your naan bread and place on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
While the naan bread is baking, I like to mince my garlic and toss in a bowl with veggies I want for my toppings and drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil along with salt & pepper and add a pinch of Italian seasoning.
Once I take my naan out of the oven, I spoon my pizza sauce on top as well as my toppings and cheese.
I place the baking tray back in the oven and bake for another 8 minutes or until I see the cheese melted.
Slice, serve and enjoy!
