Budget Friendly Date & Family Nights in Dallas:

Today I’m sharing a few things to do around Dallas with your beau that are fun and free or at a discount and won’t hurt your wallet. Of course, you can do all these things with a group or your family as well.

Dallas Museum of Art
General admission is free every day! (Some exhibits will cost if you are not a DMA member but the majority of the exhibits there are free.)

Klyde Warren Park
Right across the street from the Dallas Museum of Art, you’ll find the Kylde Warren park where you can have a picnic lunch, enjoy some food from the local food trucks, practice Yoga or Thai Chi, Sketch in the Park, watch a movie on the big screen, ride the trolley, practice Zumba or dance the night away with the DJ on deck.

Nasher Sculpture Center

Enjoy free admission every first Saturday of the month (11:00 am to 5:00 pm) and bring your creativity and the whole family with you. (Also near the Dallas Museum of Arts and Klyde Warren Park.)

Shakespeare Dallas
Pack a picnic lunch, take some wine and enjoy one of the seasons upcoming productions on “donation only” nights which are Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the summer season. They are pretty much “pay what you can” nights but if you’re unable to attend those nights or would like to fully support, you can purchase a ticket for $10-$15 depending on if you purchase online or purchase at the gates.

The Texas Rangers Game Tickets
Save up to 40% off of tickets when you take a Dr. Pepper or Diet Dr. Pepper can at the Globe Life Park in Arlington on any of these dates or make a purchase online using the coupon code: DRPEPPER

AMC Theaters
Visit any participating AMC theater on Tuesdays to receive a discount on your movie stub. (I believe if you have T-Mobile or At&t, you also receive perks on discount movie tickets.)

Dallas Farmers Market
For something fun and free for the whole family including your beloved pet, visit the Dallas Farmers Market! With tons of vendors to choose from, the Farmers Market does so much more now than just sell produce. Read my post here on my visits at the Farmers Market and click here for more pictures.

Trinity River Audubon Center
Want to be more in tune with nature? Enjoy free admission during regular hours on the third Thursday of every month.

Dallas Arboretum
Buy one, get one admission free every Wednesday at the Ticket Booth and Children’s Garden booths only. (Available every Wednesday from February 27 – July 31, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.)

Dallas Holocaust Museum
If you are a Bank of America cardholder or Bank of America employee, you can receive free admission during the first weekend of each month to the Dallas Holocaust Museum.

I hope I gave you a few ideas for some fun and affordable date/family nights for this Spring and Summer!
