Date Night in Dallas: Half Price Books

As many of you know, I love to read as often as possible so I was thrilled that my family and friends knew me well enough to gift me Half Price Books gift cards for my wedding shower this past year.
Instead of splurging them all at once, I held on to them to save for when J (my husband) and I are on a budget but still want to treat ourselves.

One of our favorite spots to visit in town is the Half Price Books Flagship store.
While I love to look for books to read, I also really love their selection of vinyls, movies, music and stationery.

HPB not only has reduced prices on books but they also have book signings, jam sessions, family movie nights and crafting days, art exhibits and benefit evenings to help raise money.

There are stores all throughout the U.S and if your state does not have a HPB, you can now shop online! Make sure to sign up to their newsletter too because they are always sending coupons and you are the first one to know about local events and news.

Currently on their website, you can pledge how many books you plan to read this new year and be entered to win a $100 HPB gift card! Click here to enter.

This is a budget friendly date and you can even take board games or a laptop if you’d like. At the Flagship store in Dallas, the HPB has a cafe so you are able to enjoy a sweet treat and coffee as well.

What are you currently reading? Where do you like to get your used books, movies and music from?

  1. I buy my books on Depop usually! I am currently reading “Fahrenheit 451” as well as re-reading “And Then There Were None.” Gotta love the classics!
