Easy salsa recipe passed down from my mother and approved by my traditional Mexican father.
- 8-10 Serrano Peppers or 2-5 Jalepeño’s (Your choice depending on how hot you want your salsa to be.)
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 small clove of Garlic
First step is roasting or boiling your peppers and tomatoes. You can do either one, I roasted mine.
Next, place them in Ziploc bags to make them sweat, and after smash the peppers and tomatoes in a molcajete or blend together in a blender.
Add one clove of garlic and salt to taste.
Add a little water if it is too thick.
