Thrifting Adventures

Wednesday is normally thrift days in my home.

My favorite thrift store has this deal where if you spend $50 or over in the store, you get a 50% coupon off of everything which is redeemable on every Wednesday or Sunday.

You can imagine that I put that coupon to good use.

My style in the way I dress varies every single day. I’ll wear just about anything as long as it’s modest and not too bright. I normally wear darker colors.

Lately, I’ve been needing warmer clothes for service so I figured I’d check out my favorite thrift store for some good deals.

Here are some of the bargains that caught my attention. (Notice the brands.)

Those were good deals already, but keep in mind I had a 50% off coupon so I got everything half off of the original price.

Looking through the racks, I fell in love with this Eddie Bauer jacket! It was in perfect condition, the material was thick, and it was gorgeous!

Unfortunately I am not a XS, but I felt so guilty giving this up knowing what a great steal it was.
I held on to the jacket while shopping and figured I would take it for my friend Lucero. I knew she would appreciate it just as I did.
My best bargain of the day was this jacket which originally was $19.91 but I purchased it for only $9.96!
I do love good deals!

Besides the great deals on clothes, the thrift store has the best selection on books!

Half my library at home comes from this thrift store.

I collect novelty brooches and picked up a few today along with a new Water Resistant Timex watch.

My purchases for the day included: three name brand sweaters, a sweater dress, two shirts, two name brand jackets, two new books, one trash can, a watch, and 4 novelty brooches.

My total would have been $130.20 but instead I spent:

I was a happy camper.

Do you enjoy thrifting? If so, what do you enjoy about it so much?

Happy Thrifting everyone!
